Mission Statement

"Building Bridges Across The Global Liberal Arts Community Through Jazz."

The specific purpose of this organization is to: provide opportunities for Artists' to support the Global Liberal Arts Community; to raise awareness of the importance of Art in all forms; to support and encourage a higher quality of Jazz education, appreciation and understanding in the community.

We will acheive this through outreach programs, research of the local jazz scene and history, community service, live music and free events that incorporate all facets of the artistic community. Through these programs our community can continue to grow, develop and thrive.

The San Diego Jazz Musicians Guild, Inc. is a 501(c)3 Corporation.
